We have simplified the mobile DVR firmware programming process with the introduction of REI's latest innovation, the DVR Toolkit app. This user-friendly app allows for HD5 DVR programming directly from a touch screen tablet or mobile phone, paired with an REI DVR featuring a Wi-Fi adapter. Upon successfully downloading the REI DVR Toolkit and establishing a connection with your DVR device, you gain access to a range of features:

Playback of videos
Live viewing from vehicle cameras
Selection of video quality/resolution for download
Vehicle naming/ID assignment
Camera setup
Individual camera activation/deactivation (up to 12 cameras)
Adjustment of camera frame rates
Date and time configuration
Customization of fault indicators and beepers to alert about DVR, hard drive, or camera issues
Activation of an external recording indicator to turn on the DVR's exterior notification light for alarms or faults
